Jannicke

Låker

Was born 1968 in Drammen/Norway. Today she lives and works in Berlin/ Germany.Låker is one of the few Norwegian artists who consequently works with video. She is known for her explicit treatment of taboos such as shame, guilt, impropriety and mental abuse. The aggressive behavior of Låkers art is not geared towards the viewer, but rather, the work itself and its participants, including the artist herself.
